Fr. Guerric Letter currently runs the kitchen here at the Abbey and is excited about getting Abbey Oven Granola off the ground as a new and exciting apostolate here at Conception.
Fr. Guerric Letter, the youngest of ten children, was raised on a dairy farm just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin. After high school he came to Conception as a college freshman studying for the Diocese of Green Bay. He entered the monastery in 2002, made his first profession in 2003, and earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Conception Seminary College in 2005. In 2012, Fr. Guerric received a Master of Divinity from Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. He completed the pastry program in the Culinary Studies Department at Johnson County Community College in 2014. If you attend a retreat at Conception Abbey, you might see Fr. Guerric supervising the kitchen and dining areas.
