Be Still and Listen

Spring! Time for spring cleaning in every sense of the word. What has been consuming or cluttering your life and thoughts during the past year? Have you found time to pray as often as you’d like? Read the Bible? Do daily devotions? Perhaps deciding that you can consume fewer “things” and give more of yourself and your time to God will be a calming and cleansing act. The Printery House offers a wide selection of magnetic tablets to help you get organized and list the chores you need to get done. Once the chores are on paper, tackle a few at a time, but then forget about them. Clear your mind and get outside each day to enjoy God’s beautiful creation…the budding trees, the blooming flowers, the sparkling stars. And when you’re outside, be silent…be still and listen for God’s voice. It will be the most renewing part of your day.

Countdown To Valentine’s Day

70070It’s already February…countdown of 10 days until Valentine’s Day. Do you know someone whose life is a blessing to you? How about someone who reflects God’s love in so many ways? Then let her or him know.

There’s a variety of ways to show how much you care and how much someone means to you.  Cards with handwritten notes are always great reminders of love and caring, as are homemade cookies, gift cards, chocolates, inviting a neighbor over for coffee, or letting someone know you’re praying for her/him.

A unique way to express your love and remind special someone of God’s everlasting love is with the gift of this beautiful Printery House exclusive keepsake box, inscribed with the scripture John 3:16.  Key letters of this Bible verse form the word “Valentine” down the front of the cross.  It’s perfect for holding jewelry or a rosary.  This unique design also comes as a photo frame that holds a 4 x 6 photo—a great way to capture a favorite memory. You can also send the coordinating card.  Whatever you choose to do, let a friend or family member know on Valentine’s Day that she/he is a blessing in your life—you’ll be glad you did.
